What should a Camero's dipstick level be?

I think my oil is low and however I am not sure what the dipstick level should be.

There will be a section on the dipstick that has cross-hatched markings engraved on it. The oil level should be somewhere between the markings. If it is below the markings, you need to add a quart of oil or more.

Pull the dipstick out, clean it and reinsert it. Pull it back out and the oil level should be between two lines near the bottom end of the dipstick.

The Camero's dipstick level should be about half way between the "Max" line and the "Min" line. These lines should be marked on the dipstick. Over filling oil can be as bad as underfilling.

you need to check the owners manual to see what the level should be. most dipsticks have a mark on them to show the correct level of oil the engine should have.

All vehicles are the same. Your camaros dipstick when pulled out should have two letters on it E and F. Make sure the oil is at the F.
