navtec navigation is the best for the suv. However you can use the standard ford navigation software that is provided with the system in the suv when purchased originally from a dealer.

The software used for the majority of American made automobiles is the Garmin standard edition. The newer cars and trucks have a more advanced and updated series of Navigation installed.

I think they use a Tom Tom. My friend has a ford ranch and it sounded like a tom Tom to me because of it's great use.
