What molestation signs should I be looking for in a sibling?

Answer by  spragoo (1500)

Probably the main thing would be if that person is withdrawn and not acting as outgoing as usual. Bed wetting and anger fits are also signs as well.

Every child reacts differently. Look for changes in behavior and/or demeanor, i. e. an outgoing, happy child becomes quiet and fearful. Depending upon the age of the child, there may also be promiscuity. It's really important to make the child feel safe telling the truth. And believe what you hear.

They vary by age and person. Common signs include inappropriate sexual behavior, unreasonable fear of a particular person or place, and depression. These are not certain, however.

They might exhibit an irrational fear of a specific adult. They may be taking up habits like drinking or smoking. They might be making some unusual sexual comments.
