The material used to make traditional bridal veils is "tulle" (pronounced 'tool' in most of North America). It is a very fine guage netting, often made of nylon or polyester. Most fabric shops sell bridal tulle by the yard. For Islamic modesty veiling, traditional fabrics are light-weight woven solids (silks, polyester, rayons), often darkly colored.

The fabric is called Tulle and can be bought wherever fabric is sold. Tulle is reasonably priced, and it is a good idea to go with the softer fabric. Another idea would be to use the same material the dress is made of, or you can go with just about any type of material, providing it is classy.
