What kind of rug goes well with a burgundy leather couch?

If you walls are light color, use a rug with that same color in it. This can be accompanied with blues, blacks, or purples. Nothing else.

A pretty cream, gold, or tan would set off the couch. Some area rugs come with leather in them. That would be a wonderful touch, using the same material as the couch. The rug also could be braided, solid, or come with mixed colors. Use the same colors in your drapes as well as sofa pillows.

Try an area rug in a matching shade like navy blue, tan, brown or black. A multicolored rug can accent the couch, also. Try Crate and Barrel.

A black rug would look really nice with the burgundy colored leather couch. If the black is too dark, you can also go with a multi-colored that includes burgundy.
