What kind of head gear do you need to wear while boxing?

If you are beginner you should have full faced protector because it protects your cheekbones and chin. If you are more experienced boxer then you can wear open faced protector which allows you better visibility.

This is a heavy padded helmet that goes over your entire head, ears and down on your forehead. It goes under your chin with a chin guard. Blows to the head can cause serious damage and along with the helmet you should wear teeth protectors. Helmets are fitted to the person and should be worn only by that person.

Please remember that head gear will not protect you from every thing . Minor scrapes and cuts are basically fully covered.There are lots of brands and styles of head gear, so you may want to get one that feels most comfortable.

Headgear will take a lot of abuse, so when deciding what to buy, ensure you buy something that is going to last. Dont buy the cheapest vinyl set of headgear
