What kind of background should be in soccer pictures?

The field? A goal?

Answer by  CoachRob (12)

In general, the back ground should be appropriate to the region and location of the field itself, as well as to the age group of the players involved. For young players who do not use a real goal, a shot at mid-field is appropriate. Most times though, depending on what is behind the goal, goal mouth is the best option.

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and images of the sport are broadcast throughout the world. A typical game includes 11 players, 3 referees, 2 goals, excited fans and the field where it all takes place. To capture the excitement of the sport any photos should include player action shots and happy spectators.
