What is your preferred method of dusting?

I do use a Swiffer, but to REALLY get dust up and gone I wipe areas down with a wet sponge and then dry them off with a paper towel. Using a Swiffer is effective, but I believe dust particles are still flying around while using it.

I like to use pledge and a soft cloth. But, for my ceiling fans (I have 5 in my home) I take a couple old socks and give them to my kids after I have saturated them with a liquid polish and have everyone clean a fan. The wet sock works wonders.

My preferred method of dusting is using Kleenex tissue. It picks up the dust as well as a dust rag, but is both cheap and disposable. I do not use a cleaner in addition to Kleenex tissue. If something needs a heavy duty scrubbing, out comes a sponge with bleach water.
