It all depends on what is going on in New York. Of course, the busiest times would be when people are going to work, 7-10am or going home, 3-6pm. If there is an event going on in New York such as a sports game or concert it will affect traffic flow. It is important to listen to traffic reports.

The traffic on the George Washington Bridge varies depending on the time of day, which way you are heading, and what level you are on. Being on the top level around 10pm at night going towards Jersey, the traffic isnt all that bad but during the day going towards New York its slow and packed.
