What is there to do in Lester, Washington?

My family owns some property there and are some of the only people who have access through the gate. There are a few scattered abandoned buildings. There are good trails to hike and very scenic views, but you must go on foot and may be ushered out by watershed workers.

Lester, Washington is a ghost town that can be visited only by foot. The road to the town is closed, and one can park where posted near the bridge and walk 1/2 mile to the town. There are a few abandoned buildings that remain. Nearby is the Stampede Tunnel, once the longest tunnel in the United States.

Lester is one of the few ghost towns in the State of Washington. It is also a relatively new ghost town. Most of the buildings are gone. One interesting landmark is a rail tunnel.

Now a ghost town, Lester once was home to steam locomotive support facilities and a logging town. It was founded in 1892 by the Northern Pacific Railway and "died" in 1984, becoming the Tacoma watershed. Stampede tunnel, once the longest in the USA, is located there. Buildings have burnt down and there is not much left.

There is no ghost in that town. It was only a gossip spread by some peoples. Sometime it may for decreasing the land value,sometime illegal things may be happened.

Lester was a old railroad town that went back many years. It had a school, library, train depot, houses, etc. It is deep in the cascades and is really scenic.

Lester pretty much is, but there are some nice resturants and bars on the town's main road. Locals are all very friendly so my bet for something to do would be to head down there and just make some new friends.

Lester is now, in fact, a ghost town. While there are no formal activities in Lester, visitors can explore the few buildings left and watch passing trains.
