The treatment for as yeast infection in a man would be an anitfungal of sorts. Normally for a male, they could either use a oral antifungal, or a topical cream. It depends on the severity of the infection, as well as the location, and how long the person has had the infection.

Most doctors actually prescribe monistat. The man should apply it directly to the skin. If it persist add vinegar to monistat. Doctors will also prescribe Diflucan or Nizoral which are very strong antibiotics. If your man does have a yeast infection it needs to be treated or you will get infected as well.

Yeast infection treatment is the same for a man as it is for a woman; he should take either a prescription or over-the-counter anti-fungal medication.
