There is a three year time frame in order to pay your inheritance tax. You can file an extension with in the second if you feel that you can not pay it all in the third year. You will need to file early to process through several outlets in Spain.

In Spain, inheritance taxes are required to be paid within one year of the date on which th will was executed.
