You couldn't ask for better!!! Sweet, intelligent- they LOVE "their" people, but accept outsiders well, they adore children, play with them excellently. This dog requires a LOT of exercise, and make sure you train quickly and well, or they will try to be the boss, because they are SO smart!

They are typically very hearty and lively little dogs. They are not aggressive although they can be assertive about what they intend to do. Schnauzers are full og energy and ideally are suitable for a family with younger children and/or a family withought them. They are very animated and full of life.
