What is the start of the tribulation period?

I know that during the end of times the earth will go through different periods, how will we know when they start?

There will be one leader in the world who will appear to bring peace. No one will be able to buy or sell without the leaders mark. The temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem and the temple worship will be reestablished. The true believers in Jesus Christ will be gone.

There will be no start to the "tribulation" as the Bible is not a history book. It is not an instruction manual. It is a collection of myths and stories of a nomadic desert people. There will be no "end of times" unless we humans somehow manage to find a way to destroy ourselves.

Tribulation is name given to the events referred in Matthew & other passages of the New Testament in the Christian Bible. Tribuation is relatively short period of time where people who follow god will experience worldwide persecution and be purified & strengthened by it. In Christian preterist view tribulation took place when Roman legionds destroyed Jerusalem & it's temple in 70th AD.
