A high lymphocyte count usually indicates some kind of viral infection. The normal range in an adult is 30-45%, more than that is considered high.

Lymphs help fight infection and disease. Normal range is 17.8-41.5%. Absolute lymphs are 0.9-2.9 x 1000. Anything more than a point over or under these ranges would be considered abnormal.
