I would reccomend that you take one iron supplement everyday. Usually you can find a multi vitamin that has iron in it.

Postmenopausal iron supplementation dosage should be no more than 1 milligram per day. Iron can accumulate in the body to toxic levels, but small amounts are lost daily. It is a good idea to monitor your iron levels when you have any lab work done.
