First, make sure your propane tank is turned off. Next, remove the grill hose by unscrewing the connections to the tank and burner. I suggest trying to clean the hose with a pipe cleaner before completely replacing it. If that does not work, buy a new hose from a home and garden store and reconnect to the tank and burner.

Remove the old hose using 2 wrenches, 1 to hold the remaining fitting steady.Wrap the threads of the new hose liberally with teflon tape and install in reverse order.

Well what you can do is purchase a replacement hose online or from the store. Then just connect it your grill as you normally would. Buying a new hose will help.

You could use an adjustable wrench and remove the hose from the grill's control valve and the gas tank. The new hose (with the regulator) should thread right on.
