Jump in the toilet bowl at Hanauma Bay. Is that even open anymore? Knowing our litigious society, it probably isn't. But that is one of the most unique things you can do in Hawaii.

If you like swimming and snorkeling that is the place to do it. All the colorful fish that is all around you, and even the distant sounds of whales in the season are yours to enjoy.

In Kauai visit Hamura Saimin Restaurant and get local! It's steaming broth and vegetables with sawdust floors and chewing gum under the countertops but here's where native Hawaiians actually talk to you!

The one thing you have to do when you visit Hawaii is go to an authentic luau. A luau is a hawaiian style party. At a luau you will experience Hawaiian cuisine, lovely hula dancing and beautiful Hawaiian music. A luau is a must on your list of things to do when you visit Hawaii.

When in Hawaii, you must absolutely, positively have to see the volcanoes. The lava flows are among the most predictable (and safe) in the world. Mauna Loa is a wonder of our world, and you have to see it if you're in that part of the world.

I would say that you have to visit the volcanoes in Hawaii. It is like getting close to the center of the earth. It is like nothing you will ever see again in your life. The lava against the black rock is also very pretty. A very unique and exciting experience.

what ever you do, get out of waikiki! people who go to hawaii and only stay in waikiki are missing so much. the breaches on the east coast of oahu like lanikai or kailua are stunning!
