Arthropods are a the largest group of animals. They are diverse, including insects, crustaceans and spiders. This collection of animals has a worldwide distribution and they tolerate various habitats. Most of this group live in or around water. Some may spend their entire lives in water, others need water to complete part of their reproductive cycle.
