It really depends on where in Florida you are visiting. Generally, southern Florida (like Miami) is milder than cities in northern Florida. The entire state of Florida ranges in high temperatures between 60 and 70 degrees Fehrenheit. The lows vary between 45 and 60 degrees Fehrenheit for teh month of January.

Florida is pretty much always hot and humid. That's why so many elderly people live there--nice weather, all the time. You will probably need shorts and similar clothes, maybe a couple sweaters and pairs of pants.

The Florida weather in January is basically sunny. It's really good weather but it gets better down in February. I'd suggest you go down to Florida with your family and have a fun time there. I really enjoyed my time there in January. It was a great place to visit.

It depends where in Florida, northern and central Florida still get rather chilly and there has been reports of snow in recent years and frost. Miami is almost always 70 and above however.

It depends on the area, but I will take Orlando, a chief tourist hot spot, as example. The weather during January tends to be a quite pleasant low to mid 70, with low, but existent chance for showers. I suggest packing as for a mild summer, but bring a coat.

That depends on where in Florida. The northern part can get cold fronts and the south tends to be tropical. Rain gear, pants, shirts, sweatshirts and a jacket are appropriate.

It's cooler than your average month. Expect daytime high to be around 75, and the nightime high to be in the 60's.

Florida weather in January is either cool or cold. It depends on the day. Most days from January through March are beautiful in Florida. It is not hot yet, so it is just gorgeous outside.
