A goldfish's body temperature is the same as their environment. Colder temperatures slow their metabolism and the warmer temperatures do opposite.

Goldfish, like all fish are cold blooded, which means they have no "central heating" of their own, but will take on the temperature of the water in the pond or aquarium that they live in.
