Oral antifungal drugs should not be used during pregnancy. Instead, an antifungal vaginal cream or a suppository will most likely be prescribed by the doctor. The doctor should be the one to prescribe the treatment and the individual should not attempt to treat herself.

Typically, yeast infections during pregnancy can be treated just like they are when not pregnant - with an anti-fungal vaginal cream, such as Monistat. If you're looking for a more natural way, however, you can get plain yogurt and apply it inside and around the vaginal area once a day (at night) until the infection clears up.

Never try to treat anything yourself while you're pregnant. A lot of medications that are safe to the average Women are not safe for a pregnant Woman. Go to your doctor and tell them that you have a yeast infection. The doctor will give you a medication that is safe for you and the baby.
