If you are wanting clean the oil from the bowling lanes off your ball, try dish washing soap (Dawn), warm water, and a sponge. Be sure to rinse thoroughly. This works great on urethane balls. If you're trying to remove glue or other material, see your local pro shop.

You should take your bowling ball to your local bowling pro shop where they will have a professional ball spinner that they can use to clean your bowling ball. Otherwise you can obtain any one of a range of readily available bowling ball cleaners and use according to the instructions.

You need to take a little water or a special cleaning solution, then take a tissue. With the tissue, you have to take the bowling ball in your left hand, and with the other hand, which is full of cleaning solution, you rub the ball. Don't forget to dry the ball before you play again.
