Any boil that I have had in my younger years was cured with something called Black Sauve. The druggist knows about this. Otherwise I would put hot compresses on it.
Use hot compresses. Put hot water and antibacterial soap on a washcloth and place it on the affected area for about fifteen minutes (or soak the part in warm water with antibacterial soap). It may take several treatments of this sort for the boil to come to a head.
