What is the best oil filter for an older model Chevrolet?

I would always recommend an ACDELCO filter for Chevys, but anything you buy at the local parts store is really about the same. Just buy a good name brand.

If you are able to get the original manufacturer part, that is always your best option. However, if that is not possible, NAPA oil filters are superior to brands such as Fram.

Every engine has a specific size and type oil filter. If you don't know what it is you will need to find a manufacturer's guide and look up your car.
