If 2 big boxes in a row have 2 of the same number in different rows- the 3rd will be in the last row without said number in that row.

Sudoku puzzles are made up of boxes with nine squares. These are stacked in 3 rows of 3, for a total of 9 squares. Each box must have one number each - 1 through 9. Each row must also have 1 of each number without repeating, up and down. To beat the games, use logic to fill in missing numbers.

There is no equation to solve it. You must use the numbers given and logically decuct where the correct numbers go.

There's no equation that will help solve a Sudoku for you, only experience. Try looking at one number at a time, one 3x3 box, or one line.

A pencil! That is the total key! Use a pencil and go thru each square writing in the possible answers. Once you find what will not work in each square, erase or mark out those numbers. Whatever you have left is a process of deduction until you have the lone number in each square.
