What is the advantage to having the hardback version of a book?

The hardback book will last longer than a paperback. The print is sometimes easier to read. They look good on a bookshelf.

I think that they are physically more attractive, than paperback, and look more nicer on a bookshelf. They also are more sturdy than a softback copy of a book. That means that the book will last a longer time than a paperback edition,if you take resonable care of it, get a hardback copy.
