What are some good Bible verses?

The Bible is one of the largest single works of literature extant. To single out a few "good" verses is exceedingly difficult. Perhaps some of the better known verses might be Genesis 1:1, Psalm 23, or John 3:16.

There are so many of them here are a few I love. Romans 1:20 says  For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and God-ship, so that they are inexcusable. Psalms 83:18 That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah

The books of Psalms and Proverbs have the most universally accepted and inspiring verses. I would say Psalms chapter 23 (the Lord is my shepard) is number 1.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
