Savage Arms is the name of a firearms manufacturing company that is based in Westfield, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1894, by Arthur Savage, and originally was located in Utica, New York. They specialize in rim fire and center fire rifles. They gained recognition as a leader in weapons manufacturing during WWII producing Thompson Machine Guns for the U.S. Military.

"Savage Arms" is the name of a company which manufactures firearms such as rifles. It has been active for more than a hundred years, though it has passed through several owners and had good and bad times in terms of profit. Today it still produces middle range rifles, at the lower middle price range.
