Bipolar disorder refers to a condition in which the individual experiences unexpected periods of mood elation which can be followed by a period of depression. The term "bipolar" refers to the swinging to and from the elated and depressive moods. Mild bipolar disorder refers to a milder form of this disorder in the bipolar spectrum.

Mild bipolar disorder is a type of mental illness that causes its sufferer to experience mood swings that go from one 'pole' of being creative, happy, productive, lively and positive to the opposite 'pole' of being lethargic, depressed, negative and unproductive. It's hard for the sufferer and their friends and family.

Bipolar disorder is also called manic depressive disorder, and consists of long periods of either mania, (lots of energy, irrational behavior, ect.) and bouts of depression. Mild bipolar disorder means you experience these much less frequently, or do not display all of the normal symptoms.

It is categorized by mood swings,ranging from euphoria to depressive states.One has heightened traits such as anger,and agititation.Bipolar disorder affects loved ones very deeply
