Kroger's is a middle of the road grocery chain. They run sales and they feel they give a decent price for their food items. It's not a high end store in cost or looks but it's not a discount store either. They stock a lot of brands and most stores are usually big to large in size.

Kroger is right there in the middle. They offer a gourmet store feel at a almost discount store price. They offer a rewards program as well.
