It is a lot like benadryl so it can be used for allergies or itching. It can also be used as an antodepressent. Ask your husband why he is taking it could just be something simple.

It says it is taken for vomitting it helps keep you from getting sick. there are also other uses for it. Hope this helps.

I was given vistaril injections for vomitting / migraine headaches at the ER Would stop the vomitting and I could fall asleep and be headache free when I woke 4-6 hours later'
