The graphics are more advanced when compared to other adventure games for Game Boy Advanced. Donkey Kong is a classic and I highly reccomend this game for young kids and Donkey Kong fanactics alike.
It has some of the original boards and feels a lot like the original arcade. It seems to be, as a game, a version of the 8-bit NES. I found it worth my time.
Donkey Kong on the GBA is part of the Classics Series: it's exactly the same as you would find in arcades. If you've played those, you will enjoy GBA's release.
