What is causing these whooshing sounds in my head?

I hear them several times a day.

It's probably the fluid in your inner ear. Sometimes, ear infections can cause that. If it's REALLY loud, it's probably "Exploding Head Syndrome," which sounds scary, but is totally harmless.

This could be a sign of inter-cranial hypertention. It can happen when exercising or any movement that increases your blood flow or the heart rate.

it's pulsatile tinnitus, which is a symptom of an underlying condition. do a search for "whooshers" for more info and support on pulsatile tinnitus.

Sounds like you may have some fluid in the inner ear which can result in wooshing, clicking and popping noises.

The most common causes of these symptoms are an ear infection and an elevation in blood pressure. Those with high blood pressure may often experience this.

You should go to a doctor for that, it could be anything. It should be checked out by a doctor who can help you take care of it.
