It sounds like loss of tooth enamel. The teeth could have a sort of translucent color, and sensitivity to hot and cold. Some thinning of the enamel is natural as we get older, but factors that could increase it include: excessive or harsh brushing, excessive consumption of fruit juices or stewed fruit (the acid is corrosive), or dietary deficiency (calcium).

You should consult with your dentist as soon as possible. Discoloration can be a symptom of many different things, but most commonly is just a fluoride deficiency. This can cause your teeth to weaken, and any weakness in the teeth or gum areas can easily lead to infection. Rinse daily with a 1/2 water 1/2 peroxide solution.

When your enamel is wearing away your teeth will turn greyish. Enamel also protects the teeth from feeling sensitive, so it is the same answer for both problems. Some possible causes for that are, too much caffeine, too abrasive of a toothbrush and also teeth whiteners can cause that as well. Flouride toothpaste and mouthwash will help.

"Meth mouth" is one possible answer- if you are doing meth, it can eat away the enamel and cause sensitivity and serious permanent damage to your teeth. If that's not the case, then check that you are brushing and flossing your teeth daily, and try using a toothpaste especially for sensitive teeth to see if that helps.
