What is a "twin lens" camera?

Does it use two lenses at once?

The old "twin lens reflex" cameras used one lens to focus the image on the film and the other lens for the viewfinder. Since the lenses were close together, this worked well, but for closeups, the viewfinder image was different from the film image.

Twin lens camera is a kind of camera with two lenses which have different functions but with the same focal length. I don't know if it uses two lenses at once or not.
