What is the likelihood that a teen will elect to breastfeed her newborn? If she does initiate breastfeeding, what are the rates of continued breastfeeding success at 6 weeks, 6 months, a year? How can the presence or lack of support by a breastfeeding-positive counselor such as a home visit nurse or La Leche League mentor affect the outcomes?

A good research question for teen pregnancy would be what precentage of teen pregnancies result in premature birth and or low birth weight in the baby. In addition you could research the precentage of teen pregnacies that result in the mom and child remaining on federal aid for the reminder of their lives.

A really good one is, "How Many Pregnant Teen Mom's Actually finish High School and go on to College? " It would be good if you found stories of Mom's who went on to be successful despite having a child too early.
