Non-uniform pigmentation is when the coloring of your skin "pigment" is not all the same color "non-uniform". This can appear as dark brown spots, red spots, or lighter spots on the skin. Non-uniform means not the same, unequal, not all the same color. It can mean that your skin may be malignant or benign but it should probably be tested.

Non-uniform pigmentation refers to pigmentation or coloration of the skin that is not even. This includes lighter areas of skin with some darker areas, making the pigmentation look uneven in all areas or specific areas of the body. non-uniform pigmentation can be caused by many medical conditions and everyday physical wear and tear such as sun tanning.

Melanin is the cause of skin colour. It gives the tone to the skin be it black or brown or white. When the melanin is not uniform due to harmonal changes in the body or any other medical reason this pigmentation becomes non uniform which means it results in patch skin tone.
