A mixture of two tablespoons of dishsoap and one quart of water in a spray bottle appled to the soil until damp will gid rid of the fungus gnats. The eggs are located in plant soil normally located in houseplants. The heavy liquid will snuff out the eggs and not injury the plants.

First you should kill the fungus. Boil minced garlic and rosemary in water. Once it cools pour it directly onto the fungus. Take a cup of water with lemon it in and set it around the gnats.
