A biome is a large natural community of plants and animals living in the same environment (marine biome, think ocean). As a system, it benefits all life within by its working food, climate, and life balances and supplies... and life without by filtering water, providing food, plants, and minerals, etc.

A biome is a division in an environment where different animals have adapted to live. There are forrest biomes, desert biomes, and marine biomes to name a few. Marine biomes benefit marine life because it is where they live and eat and sustain themselves. Marine life has adapted to live in that environment.
