Deva is a non-human being that is more powerful, longer-lived, happier, etc, compared to humans. Devas are not gods, they are not immortal or omnipotent

Devas are more powerful and more blissful being then humans, usually invisible to most of the latter ones. Devas are not gods: they are not immortal and cannot escape samsara.
