It's not quite illegitimate spyware, but the company that sells it is pretty dishonest. It says there are errors when there aren't any, and you have to pay an outrageous sum of money for it to do anything you'd really want it to do.

BugDoctor is a registry cleaning software however there are much better software packages available try using CCleaner, Also in regards to BugDoctor being Spyware this may because you did not download the software from the legitimate site, In summary any software can be made into Spyware it is up to you to determine if a source is trusted or not.
