This is the cause of hypertension or high blood pressure. Your arteries are working too hard to move blood. After awhile, if left untreated, a stroke could happen or cardiac failure. Your heart is limited of the work it can do and too much demand is a bad thing. There is treatment available.

This is called high blood pressure and can cause heart attacks or strokes. After some time, the heart muscles thicken. The heart increases in size and can no longer work efficiently to pump the blood through the body. This can cause great damage to the arteries and can cause blood clots.
