Yeah benchpressing, or any other excersise for that matter, 5 times a week is too much. By doing this you dont allow enough time for your muscles to heal in between workouts. Day 1: Chest, Triceps
Day 2: Back, Biceps, Shoulders
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Chest, Triceps
Day 5: Back, Biceps, Shoulders
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Rest
