carrots don't chop up they can chew for boredom. It also helps their teeth. Broccoli but not too much. Cucumber for being food every now and again. Make sure don't give anything with seeds in it should be ok for a little bit of of apple with no seeds.
Rabbits can eat all sorts of greens that people eat. Go easy on the fruits, however. The sugar content is too high and the rabbit can get buzzed from too much fruit. They do enjoy salad greens, carrots, dandelions from the garden and broccoli. The House Rabbit Society has a web page that lists things rabbits can eat.

this is a great site. i just found it. yes iceburg lettuce and even brocolli can cause painful gas. if your bun is hunched up, grinding teeth that means she is in pain. Could be gas or other painful condition. If she is grinding hard, pain. if softly, happy. add a comment
It's better to give rabbits food that tend to be low in calcium. If you give them too much food that's high in calcium, they can get something called a bladder stone, or urine sludge. So, buy pellets that are low in calcium.

Correct. Everything bunny eats cut into small pieces. Keep in mind regular iceberg lettuce should not be feed to rabbits. There is no nutritional value. Only dark green lettuce. Carrots should only be used as treats. Check w/your vet or better yet Rabbits for Dummies. No Apple Seeds are deadly add a comment

Rabbits love to eat cabbage and carrots, they love to nibble on broccoli, but never give them leek, orange and any other watery fruit and veg because it can cause diarrhea.
During imergencies when i cannot make it into town and Blue (my rabbit) cannot have food for that evening i normally top up is bowl with carrot peels, cucumber, apple and cabbage leafs and he enjoys it as he rarely has it so its a treat.
