What effects will a thick uterus lining have on ones period?

From my understanding, a thick uterus tends to lead to heavier and longer periods since those tend to lose more tissue means more blood loss. Hence the reason it is rare to get pregnant when you are on your period, because there is no where for the egg to attach.

What this means is that the lining of the uterus has not been shedding each month. During a period, one might see clots and tissue passed during a cycle.

It can make your period very heavy. When your progesterone levels decrease during your cycle immediately before your period comes, your thick uterus lining is released. Because your uterus lining is what your period is made of, your period will most likely be heavier than it would be if you had a thinner uterus lining.

A thick lining will result in a heavier period, more bleeding and more cramping as your body sheds the lining of your uterus. You should make sure you have amble supplies to prevent accidents and if the cramps are too bad soak in hot baths. You may also ask your doctor how to deal with it.
