What does patriotism mean to you?

I think of patriotism as working to make one's country healthy and strong through loyalty, responsibility, and practical citizenship requiting critical thinking rather than going along with authority or corporations, and certain styles of patriotism sre outmoded because more of the world that has grown more interrelated than before.

Patriotism is remembering America's beginnings, the principles on which it has grown, what the Constitution means and how many men and women have sacrificed their lives to defend it.
