It's a medicinal herb that's been used in Asia for centuries, and its main effects are stress relief and hormone balancing (menopausal females report that ginseng keeps them from experiencing symptoms). There are many other health benefits to ginseng, including offsetting diabetes effects, curing insomnia and erectile dysfunction, and helping ease cold symptoms. In other words, it's pretty awesome.

The herb ginseng is believed by some to be "the fountain of youth". It has been reported that it tones the muscles and skin, improves the appetite and digestion, and enhances sexual energy. Some believe, also, that it increases the ability to concentrate and that it increases energy. It has been used by athletes for overall strengthening.

Ginseng is similar to green tea antioxidant-wise. But instead of being a mild, relaxing tea, it has a natural energy boost. It is a natural alternative to caffine in coffee or soda. However to some people, it causes jitters and hyperactivity.

Ginseng is a Chinese tea that is a natural energizer without the unhealthy caffeine of coffee. So in a nutshell it gives you energy.
