Beachcombing is walking up and down a beach looking for things to collect. You'll find shells, sharks teeth, driftwood and whatever else catches your eye. It's best done after high tide has washed up new "stuff". It's fun and interesting because you never know what you'll find.

It involves just walking along the tide and seeing what you can find. Mostly it is just the natural things you find along the shore like seashells, seeds, etc. But rarely you can find rare items and there are people that actually study how the tide works.

While beach combing you anyone can find just about anything. Beach combing is when you rake threw the sand at the beach looking for lost items. Watches, money, earrings, keys, and just about anything can be found and used for yourself. Its free too.

Beach combing is where people go to the beach to see what they can find that might have washed up on shore. Using a metal detector for this is common.
