The best type of hippie shirt would be a tie dye. You can get a tie dye at a hippie type shop or on line. Other types of shirts would be a batik t-shirt or a t-shirt with any type of environmental or peace message. Usually hippie shirts are large, so don't get a shirt too small.

You definetely want a tie die shirt, preferably in rainbow colors. You can make Tie dye shirts yourself by geting a D. i. y. kit at an arts and crafts store or you can find them in some shirts or maybe at a thrift shop. You should be able to get a hold of one easily.

You can go a few different ways with this, you can buy a white t-shirt and some tye-dye and make your own tye-dyed shirt or find a tye-dye shirt at a store. Something flowy and loose is also very "hippie" like.
